Our Foot Health Practitioners are trained to treat and manage a wide range of common foot problems. They can also identify conditions that may require specialist attention and refer you on if needed.
You might benefit from seeing a Foot Health Practitioner if:
You can’t reach your toenails to trim them
Your toenails are too thick to cut
Your toenails have become yellow, flaky, or brittle
You have corns or calluses on your toes or the soles of your feet
You have a persistent verruca
You have cracked or callused heels
We also provide routine screenings and foot care for people with diabetes. Diabetes can affect circulation and nerve sensation in the feet, making regular checks essential. All new patients receive a neurovascular assessment, repeated at intervals based on your needs.
Looking after your feet is a vital part of your overall health. Over a lifetime, your feet may carry you the equivalent of four times around the world—so they deserve the best care.

Advanced fungal nail treatments
Fungal nail infections (onychomycosis) affect between 2–8% of adults, but not all thick or abnormal nails are caused by fungus—around half are due to other factors such as trauma.
Most infections (over 90%) are caused by a group of fungi called dermatophytes. Others may involve moulds, yeasts, or a combination.
The first step is to confirm whether a fungal infection is present using an in-clinic dermatophyte test (£40, deducted from treatment cost if you proceed). Once confirmed, we’ll discuss your treatment options so you can make an informed choice. These may include:
No fungal nail treatment is 100% guaranteed, and success depends on commitment to the treatment plan.
Verrutop is a topical solution containing nitric acid, organic acids, zinc, and copper salts. Unlike freezing (cryotherapy) or burning treatments, Verrutop works by breaking down viral proteins and drying out the wart tissue, which then naturally falls away, leaving healthy skin underneath.
If you’d like to know more about Verrutop, please contact us.
